Flextur Plant Tour

July 21, 2026 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Flextur
16875 Jericho Road | Dalton, OH 44618

Located in Dalton, Ohio, Flextur is an Amish-owned and operated business with a history dating back to 1978. What began as a small shop building horse-drawn farm equipment for the local community has evolved through decades of practical problem solving and continuous improvement. As the business matured, the team embraced lean manufacturing - challenging processes, eliminating waste, and empowering employees to develop better ways of working. That journey ultimately led to the development of Flextur’s welding and workstation products, fixture concepts, and a transition into supporting manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Today, Flextur operates out of a 60,000 sq. ft. facility and provides standard welding products, engineered solutions, and contract metal manufacturing. In 2024, the addition of an in-house powder coating line further expanded Flextur’s ability to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions. During the tour, you will see equipment in action including Bystronic laser cutting systems and Bystronic press brakes, along with both manual and robotic welding, and finishing processes across the facility. You will also experience how Flextur approaches fixturing - from simple, practical welding fixtures to more advanced multi-stage fixtures designed to reduce setup time and improve repeatability, all with a focus on real-world manufacturing efficiency.
