2026 Processors Auction at the Motor City Slitters

Since 2010, the Outside Processors Council (OPC) has partnered with SparkForce, the charitable foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA), to bridge the skills gap in our industry. Together, we have awarded over $105,000 in OPC-funded scholarships to students pursuing careers in metals and manufacturing.

Now operating under the Association of Metals Processors and Distributors (AMPD), we are continuing this legacy of impact. Your participation ensures that the steel and metals industry remains strong, skilled, and ready for the future.

How it Works:
Leading companies donate high-value processing services, such as pickling, slitting, and leveling. These services are then promoted by SparkForce to a targeted network of potential customers.
The auction kicks off during the Motor City Slitters Golf Outing on July 30 and remains open for two weeks. Anyone can participate in the auction from anywhere. Attendance at the golf outing is not required.
