FMA Announces 2026 Safety Awards Winners  

The Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) and longstanding sponsor CNA are proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Safety Awards. These awards recognize exceptional safety performance and a strong commitment to creating safe, healthy workplaces. 

For more than 30 years, CNA has proudly served as the endorsed carrier for the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, reinforcing both organizations’ shared commitment to advancing safety standards and fostering a culture of protection in the metal fabrication industry.  

Open to all FMA Business Members, the Safety Awards are based on company performance during the previous calendar year. Honorees are selected for surpassing OSHA recordable rate benchmarks within their respective North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. 

Awards will be presented at a recognition dinner on May 12 at the 18th Annual FMA Safety Conference in Schaumburg, IL. 

Most Improved Safety Record Award  

The 2026 Most Improved Safety Record is awarded to the Safety Award recipient demonstrating the greatest percentage improvement from the previous year.

Honorable Mention  

The Honorable Mention category recognizes companies that achieved an injury and illness incidence rate up to 10% better than the published Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) rate for their NAICS code in 2025.
