According to last year’s report respondents managed their finances well by carefully controlling their cash flow and employee count. However, 33% of the respondents reported a sales decline in 2015 despite adding new customers at a higher rate and Quote Capture rates increasing by 38%. This slow growth indicates that recurring customer volumes were relatively flat overall. Participating companies can then compare their sales growth/decline, new customers, and quote rates to the trends identified in the report to see how the compare to the national and regional averages. The survey collects key financial and operational data from 2016 on thirty-two metrics in the areas of liquidity, profitability, asset management, operational benchmarking, value proposition, and marketing effectiveness. The responses will then be compiled together and reported out anonymously in June using five different demographics. Participants will be able to compare their data to that of other companies based on the number of employees, company type, annual sales volume, geographic region, and plant size.

More participation means broader data and a clearer understanding of the health of the industry! All data submitted remains confidential. Participants who complete the survey receive substantial discounts on the compiled results when released in June.
Submit your survey by April 21!
