Officers Elected to Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs Foundation of Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International

ROCKFORD, Ill., November 4, 2015 – Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® (NBT), the charitable foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International® (FMA), elected a new slate of officers at its recent meeting.

David Brown, president, Affiliations Unlimited, Inc., Irvine, Calif. was elected chair; Warren Long, defense commodity manager, NPG, Oshkosh Corporation, Oshkosh, Wis. was elected vice chair; and Bruce Benedict, President, Production Tube Cutting, Dayton, Ohio was elected secretary/treasurer. Newly elected officers will serve one-year terms.

Elected to the NBT Board for a two year term was Franklin Maccotan, Director, Industry Leader Manufacturing Segment, CNA, Seattle, Wash.

Grants from NBT provide seed funding for community and technical college organizers offering summer manufacturing camps designed to inspire junior high and high school students to consider careers in manufacturing, and provide scholarships to help community/technical college and trade school students studying to prepare for careers in manufacturing.
